Wow, another Church of God, (Cleveland, TN) that is now further north in Alaska than the Kotzebue Church. Praise God. Check out these hardy, hearty souls on the northern perimeter of Alaska. Presently (2009) pastored by Bishop David G. Matthews, Jr who has lived much of his life in Kotzebue, married to Tina Howarth and father of 6 children.
Lots of in-depth information from the City of Kotzebue. The site has many interesting pages and has vintage photographs for the history buff.
